How to get here

Here you will find all the information and directions you need when travelling to Dorfweil, either by car or by public transport.

Arriving by car

From the North on the A5: exit Friedberg via the Lochmühle, Hessenpark, Neu-Anspach,Schmitten, Dorfweil.

From the West on the A3: exit Bad Camberg-via B275 In the direction of Usingen, in Altweilnau branch off to the right in the direction of Dorfweil/Schmitten

From the South on the A5: : exit Bad Homburg Kreuz, follow direction to Oberursel/Bad Homburg on the A661, then on to the A 445 towards Schmitten/Hohe Mark, taking the first exit out of the roundabout towards Schmitten. When in Schmitten follow directions straight ahead to Dorfweil.

Arriving by train

  • Travel to the Bus No.50 towards Schmitten/Dorfweil. This takes approx..40 minutes. We shall be pleased to fetch you from the bus stop in Dorfweil -free of cost- which takes two minutes. (Please book this service 2 days before arrival).
  • Shuttle service available on request, for example from Oberursel-travel time approx. 30 minutes (we charge €35,- (Enquire and book at least 3 days before arrival).
  • Public transport via Neu-Anspach: from Frankfurt main station to Bad Homburg, change here for Neu-Anspach-travel time approx.. 50 mins. We can arrange a shuttle service from Neu-Anspach (we charge €15,-) (Enquire and book at least 3 days before arrival.)

Arriving by plane

Fly to Frankfurt airport. Either travel by public transport (www.rmv.de) or a shuttle service can be arranged- travel time approx.. 45 mins. depending on the traffic. (Enquiry and booking at least 3 days before arrival) We charge €65,-.

Shuttle-Service

Please ask about our shuttle service – We can offer it usually between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
Otherwise you can arrive also with bus/ train or take a cab/taxi to our destination.

  • Busstop Schmitten-Dorfweil: time approx. 2 minutes
    (Please book this service 2 days before arrival)
  • Trainstation Oberursel: time approx. 30 minutes
    (we charge €35)

  • Airport Frankfurt/Main: travel time approx.. 45 mins. depending on the traffic.
